1. How early should I arrive at the airport?
Only 15-20 minutes before takeoff. By flying private, you will use a dedicated terminal (FBO) separate from commercial flights. No security lines and no crowded gates. Your driver will drop you off directly at the VIP entrance, or in some airports, right at the aircraft stairs.
2. How much luggage can I bring?
It depends on the size of the chartered jet. Very Light Jets (like the Citation Mustang) have limited hold space (generally 1 soft bag per person). Midsize or Heavy jets can accommodate large hard suitcases, ski equipment, surfboards, or golf bags. Remember to let us know about your special luggage during your request!
3. What documents do I need?
The rules are the same as for commercial flights: a valid ID Card for flights within the Schengen Area, or a valid Passport (with a visa if required) for non-Schengen routes. Documents will be checked quickly and discreetly at the VIP terminal.
4. Is it possible to change the departure time after confirming the flight?
Yes, total flexibility is one of the main advantages of private flying. If your business meeting runs late or your crew wants to enjoy a few more hours of vacation, just contact your dedicated Account Manager promptly. Changes are almost always possible, subject to airport slots and the crew's maximum duty times.
5. What happens in case of bad weather?
Private jets fly at higher altitudes than standard commercial airliners (often above 12,000/13,000 meters), literally "jumping over" weather disturbances to ensure an extremely stable and comfortable flight. If extreme weather conditions compromise the safety of the departure or destination runway, the crew will evaluate a slight schedule change or a diversion to the nearest alternative airport.
6. How does splitting the payment among friends or colleagues actually work?
Once the quote is confirmed, we can provide a system that allows each group member to pay their share independently. Everyone can choose their preferred method: credit card, PayPal, or conveniently in installments with Scalapay. As per our Terms and Conditions, the main passenger (Lead Passenger) always remains the sole guarantor for the full balance of the flight.
